Ergon Capital is a private-equity fund that was jointly founded by Parcom Capital and GBL Group in 2005. The current fund size is EUR 500 million. Ergon invests in companies with strong positions in niche markets with growth perspectives in Belgium, Italy and Spain. The fund has local offices in Brussels, Milan and Madrid. The investment team consists of 5 partners and is headed by Ian Gallienne. Ergon has invested in:
- Stroili (Italian jewellery retail chain)
- King Belgian/Dutch distributor of disposables that was recently sold)
- La Gardenia (Italian perfume retail chain)
- Seves (Italian manufacturer of glass building and insulation materials)
- Aliplast (Belgian manufacturer of Aluminum profiles for buildings)
- Joris Ide (Belgian producer of steel cladding)
- Farmabios (Italian manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients)
- Nicotra (Italian/German manufacturer of industrial fans)
