ING Parcom’s co-lead investment in Vivalto Santé completes its first build-up operation
6 June 2011
Vivalto Santé, a private clinics group created in December 2009 following the acquisition of three private clinics in Brittany (Rennes, Brest and St Malo) has just completed its first build-up with the acquisition of the Polyclinique de la Baie in Avranches (Normandy). Vivalto Santé’s CEO Daniel Caille indicated that this acquisition is in line with the group’s initial development strategy to create, through acquisitions, a major player in the private clinic sector in western France.
With this acquisition, the group can now rely on 900 beds, 1200 employees and revenues of €120m. Other external growth projects are underway as well as an important development program of surgical and emergency units at Saint Grégoire clinic in Rennes.
Vivalto Santé is associated with Crédit Agricole PE, ING Parcom PE, BNP Paribas and Crédit Mutuel Arkéa that own together a 60% stake in the group. The remaining 40% of shares are owned by more than 150 independent practitioners all active in one of the group clinics. The CEO wishes to perpetuate this unique ownership model associating practitioners to the group strategy.
